White House Press Secretary, Robert Gibbs gets destroyed by Chip Reid of CBS and Helen Thomas of Hearst News Service about the faux transparency of the govt. He should get fired for his poor smirky response.

via freetail:

Moby writes to Bob Lefsetz: “Here’s something funny: the best selling itunes track is ‘shot in the back of the head’. Why is that funny? Because its the track we’ve been giving away for free for the last 2 months and that we’re still givng away for free.” (thanks to Mitch Joel for the link)

The terrorists “hate our freedom.” If that’s true, they’re probably going to hate our folding bikes.
Montague’s bad-ass Paratrooper Tactical Folding Mountain Bike is jump-ready and can be dropped on a static line or attached to a paratrooper. Accessories seem to include a camo wrap for jump time and a handlebar attachment that stores an assault rifle in a “travel” position. (via  Core77)

Tangent Pilot

All things, past, present, and future, are related and reciprocal. We’re going to show you how. Welcome to Tangent. Our pilot episode explores the relationships between credit cards, Dwight Eisenhower, the Pledge of Allegiance, the Interstate Highway System, and a now-defunct publication called The Youth’s Companion.

What’s most interesting about Tangent is the way Adam & Jessica are funding this show. Have a look see

If you are too lazy to click through the short story is they are selling shares to their project/company. They estimate production for 2009 costing $20k and are willing to pay $10,200 of those costs and are selling the rest in $10 increments as shares. Revenue from Tangent is split equally among shareholders, in direct correlation to their percentage of ownership.

What I really did was open this creation by Mpeutz on Aviary and switch the image resource and like magic this masterpiece was created. [open source file and see the inner magic for yourself]

I went to the Fancy Food Show today and bumped into friends who run a gourmet retail shop and had an amazing time. This is a video I took of Justin eating a Jolokia, the world’s hottest pepper.
