Broadway Street View, by joelaz

When Google Maps launched their street view feature, I had this idea to create a time lapse video based on the images captured by the Googlemobile as it made it’s way down a famous street.  Today, I finally got around to making the video.  I’ve been missing New York a little lately, so I decided to use Broadway as the subject matter.  This video is based on a screencast that I recorded from my computer while clicking through Google Maps street view starting at Broadway & 50th heading all the way downtown.  The whole thing took maybe 15 minutes to record and then I edited the clip in iMovie.

I think the effect is interesting.  If you like it, can you Digg it?
